file HERE
PSP/Animation Shop... all
versions should work
Let's begin:
Open up your artman jpeg,
your gerber daisy tube,
and your pink tear tube
in PSP.
Activate the artmam jpeg.
Promote to layer. Go to
Adjust..Hue and
Saturation.. Colorize.
All of the colour choices
are completely up to you.
I simply colorized to
match the daisy.

Now go to Adjust... Photo
Fix..DigitalCameraNoiseRemoval
with these settings:

Using your mover tool,
move your graphic halfway
up... don't worry, we
really only want the eyes
to show... so you end up
with something like
this..

Add a new raster layer,
arrange to bottom, flood
fill with a light colour
from your graphic
Activate your top layer
again (the face image)
Using your selection tool
(rectangle) select a
rectangle something like
this using these settings

Don't worry that when you
let go of your tool, the
selection seems really
BIG... it's feathered out
quite a distance
Add a new raster layer
while leaving the ants
marching
flood fill into the
selection on your new
raster layer with a dark
colour from your tube, so
you have something like
this:

Selections... Select
None.
Merge all layers
Add border... 3 pixels...
black
Then another border... 3
pixels... white
Then yet another
border... 3 pixels...
black.
Promote to layer
Go to Image... Canvas
size...
with these settings

Don't worry, we can crop
and resize later :-)
Now, copy and paste your
gerber daisy tube...
position it using my
preview as reference.
I added a drop shadow to
both my daisy and main
graphic at this point...
up to you.
Copy and Paste your pink
tear drop tube...
position it slightly
below and to the right of
your eye. Again, up to
you where it goes.
Drop the opacity to
approx 40%
Add in your text and
copyright information at
this time.
I'm using Scriptina for
my text, and using
SuperBladePro Coconutice
to bevel it. All your
creative choices.
When you're happy with
how your tag looks,
flatten it, and crop out
as much white as you can.
Save as a .jpeg somewhere
you can easily find it
Now, let's go to
animation shop!
Open AS... open your
sparkle provided.
Open your jpeg.
See how your spinstar has
six frames?
Well, we have to make our
taginto six frames...
here's how to do it. Go
to Edit, Duplicate
selected. Keep doing that
until you have six frames
:-) If you accidentally
end up with more frames
than you need, use your
mouse, click on a frame,
then hit delete on your
keyboard
Activate your spinstar
set... go to Edit, Select
All, copy
Activate your tag
frames... go to edit,
select all, Paste into
Selected Frame.
Your spinstar will show
up under your mouse
cursor... do NOT click
until you get it position
on the
"tear"...when
you're happy with the
position, left click once
with your mouse to
"set" the
pasting.
Now... play your
animation... pretty,
isn't it?
If your animation is too
big for you, simply go to
Animation, Resize
Animation. Make sure
"bicubic
resampling" is
checked.
Once you're happy with
the size, save as a gif
and you're done!
